It was an honor to be on the program for "Spotlight on Today's Woman" In Celebration of Women's History Month. There were so many influential people that attended tonight that are making a difference. I was so nervous to speak in front of them and had the craziest thought that I was going stumble all over my words. However as I made my way to the front and looked out at the people, God gave me a peace which passeth all understanding (Philippians 4:7) I began to speak and it flowed out like a river and then I went right into my monologue. I'm so thankful and honored to be a part of this event and to have met some distinguished people that I will be working with in the near future.

The photo shoot with Mr. Paul Sirochman and makeup artist Ms. Jennifer Lynne went great! He took over 200 shots and I must say I like them all. My agent received access to the photos and it was a challenge to find two for a touch up and to use on all the acting database. I'm so glad that I've made this investment! It was totally worth it and I hoping to get more jobs because I'm serious about my craft and I want the Casting Agencies to take me seriously. I attended the audition for Don Giovanni. It was different from the usual - Writers/Directors sit at a table, you enter, slate and present your monologue. This audition was all about movement which I enjoyed because I felt like I was taking a class. I auditioned for two roles and each role you have to do an exercise portraying the character in a couple of ways. For one of the roles I really was dramatic; I was a trip and had fun with the role in front of the camera. I just received word that I'm still in the running to be cast in April's production of DON GIOVANNI at The Academy Of Music. #TamaraWoods #Actress #Artist #Philadelphia #OperaPhiladelphia |
