Tamara Woods in Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel, To Kill A Mockingbird. It is revived January 27 to February 21, 2016. To Kill A Mockingbird has been front and center in cultural news during 2015, as Harper Lee's sequel to her famed novel was released. The show, set during the Great Depression, highlights the powerful story of attorney Atticus Finch and his children after he is appointed to defend Tom Robinson, a black man framed for a crime he did not commit. Their community in Alabama represents a microcosm of the tension between justice and racism that existed during the time period, and is still relevant today.

Here in my "Rocky" stance with Actor Chad L. Coleman from “The Wire” and Philadelphia’s Rock Stars, Ottrina Bond and Felicia Wilkins. Today I woke up and the theme song Gonna Fly Now from “Rocky” the movie was in my head. I am pumped! #GonnaFlyNow #GoingtheDistance #GettingStronger #MyRockyStance
Be enlightened and encouraged by this scripture. “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.” ~Ecclesiastes 9:11 Time. It’s my time. It’s your time. After meditating on the Rhema word given by Bishop Keith Butler, and what I took away from it (see previous post) I started compiling my list of expectations for 2016. Therefore, I’m going to start first.
I’m going to BREAKOUT in my career, by doing things differently and doing things I never done before. It's YOUR Turn! “2016 is the Year of the BREAKOUT!” ~ Bishop Keith Butler #Breakout #Expectancy #Breakthrough #2016 #NewYear #FreshStart #Rhema #GodsVessel Let The Praises Be On Your Lips for 2016!
And when they had laid man stripes on them, they threw them into prison, commanding the jailer to keep them securely. Having received such charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. 25 But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. 26 Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. Acts 16:23-26 Paul and Silas were brought to the magistrates because they were falsely accused by the masters of a slave girl possessed with a spirit of divination. They were beaten and thrown into prison…Nevertheless their circumstance didn’t stop them from praying and singing praises to Almighty God. We don’t know what the year may bring; Trials and tribulations may come or you may be going through right now, but praise God anyway. Praise God when all is good and through the bad. Your Breakthrough is near for you to BREAKOUT!!! What is it that you are expecting to ‘breakout’? Personal? Career? It doesn’t have to be one thing. You fill in the blank. Again, I encourage you to Let The Praises Be On Your Lips! 2016 Is The Year Of The BREAKOUT!!! |
